I caught myself sitting by my dry cabi the other day. I took out some of them and lovingly stroked and caressed it. Rubbed on some of the lenses. Played with their advance lever, corking the shutter.. Firing it off and watch the shutter pane in action. Gosh, I really REALLY miss shooting.

Though it gave me much joy, just sitting there admiring my collection. Some cameras I've not use them before yet and some I never had the intention to use at all.

So that's it I supposed.  I'm packing up my craft room.. clearing up all my materials, throwing away ideas that never did materialize.  A little pinch of heartache when I was doing so.  But I reminded myself it is for my little one who will be coming end of this year and if she had came much earlier, I probably would never have accumulated all that stuff!

I don't know if I will ever find the time to craft again.  Anyway, I haven't been actively selling online ever since our home got renovated.  It was mostly crafting, sewing and drawing to my own pleasures.  Perhaps I can still squeeze time?  

Packing up the materials and deciding what to keep and throw was like having an internal war in my head. But i do realize, these days when I own things....  I own them in ABUNDANCE.  I am so so lucky.  I have everything I have ever wanted. Everything and more.  Perhaps, I should just do a photo post of all the stationeries and craft materials and cameras and toys that I have.  Growing up, I was barely given enough.. but now, I have all that I can ever ask.  (honestly, i think contentment plays a huge role here.. i don't ask for expensive stuff.. heehee)

So, a hoarder I shall be no more.

ps: though i rarely ask for expensive things....... a vintage car will be a nice addition to my vintage vespa. Vintage Beetle, merces, mini cooper or a toyota celica, just one of them would be just fine! LOL

Not the less bit interested in the race but walking around snapping photos was fun!

We went to the F1 and boy the performance before the qualifying race was so awesome. It makes the hot, humid and uncomfortable trip all worthwhile.

The performance was very much a surprise which we just happen to come across. It was beautiful, dreamy and surreal. Nothing like I've ever seen before. We were completely mesmerize by it. A very clever idea where the skies were your stage.

This video was taken by my harinezumi. And of course needless to say, I've managed to capture none of the zooming cars. Oh well, I'm honestly not interested in them at all.

Arh... My first self portrait ever. Painted on the iPad. So much joy painting to the music of camera obscura.. So much joy. It didn't matter at all that I looked absolutely horrible.

I don't know if it was because of my juvenile painting skills or I really look so horrible in real life, either way is FML.

 This look might not be for everyone..

But I love it to bits.  Been trying really hard to figure out how to sew a pair of drop crotch pants when i came across somewhere on the internet that you can reverse a sweater shirt, use the arm sleeves as leg pants.  And then Voila! Hubby have tons of working shirts lying around which he is giving away to the salvation army.  I thought why not give shirt pants a try?

So after cutting off the collar and sewing it shut.  I attach one button onto another to create a layer.. and here it is! I'm absolutely proud of it and loving it loads!

There! I finally did it.  My journal pics capturing misc stuff that i had done in July.

 I am so flabbergasted at how much life is giving me for this month of August.

Damn nearly abandoned this monthly project but am glad I didn't . . it is so nice to reminisce at the past memories.  Pictures retain what my faulty brains can't. ;)

Recently, I've gotten myself the iPad. It has proven to be a very unhealthy love affair. I've clearly been playing too much on it and neglected to do my updates here.

I realize the blogging app i use to have on my iphone could be use in the ipad too so am now testing if I can post pictures straight out from it.
